SBS MD Product Service Terms of Use
Article 1 (Purpose and Scope of Application, etc.)
  1. The purpose of these terms is to clarify the rights and relationships between the 'Company' and the 'Member' in relation to the sale (purchase), use, and refund of 'Paid MD Products' sold within the 'Service'.
  2. These terms apply to 'Members' who purchase 'Paid MD Products'.
  3. These terms are ancillary to the 'SBS/SBSi Terms of Use'. Any matter not specified in these terms shall be governed by the 'SBS/SBSi Terms of Use'.
Article 2 (Definition of Terms)
  1. Terms defined in the 'SBS/SBSi Terms of Use' will have the same meaning in these terms.
  2. Additional terms defined in these terms are as follows: 'Paid MD Products' refers to various products (including MD products) that 'Members' can purchase for a fee through the 'Service'.
Article 3 (Content and Usage Period of Paid MD Products, etc.)
  1. The 'Company' will notify in an appropriate manner within these terms and in the 'Service' the following items to ensure that 'Members' understand the transaction conditions of 'Paid MD Products' accurately and can transact without errors or misunderstandings:
  2. Specific content such as types and prices of 'Paid MD Products', methods of use, timing of use, and conditions of use.
  3. Matters related to entering the recipient's name, address, mobile phone number, email address, etc.
  4. Matters related to the burden of costs such as delivery fees.
  5. Matters related to the selection of payment methods.
  6. Matters related to withdrawal of an offer (including cases where the right to withdraw an offer is limited), cancellation of contracts, deadlines, methods of exercise, effects, and matters related to refunds.
  7. Matters related to compensation for consumer damages, handling of complaints, and dispute resolution.
Article 4 (Establishment of the Purchase Contract for Paid MD Products)

The purchase contract for 'Paid MD Products' is established when the 'Member' agrees to these terms and purchases the 'Paid Products' through the payment methods and means set by the 'Company'.

Article 5 (Purchase of Paid MD Products)
  1. The purchase of 'Paid MD Products' is made through payment methods available on the service platform provided by the company, such as credit cards, mobile phones, and simple payments. However, if there is a separate operator for the payment method chosen by the 'Member', the 'Member' must complete the procedures required by the operator of that payment method before using it to proceed with the payment.
  2. The 'Company' may refuse or cancel the establishment of a purchase contract for 'Paid MD Products' by not accepting, reserving acceptance, or later canceling the acceptance of the 'Member's purchase request in the following cases:
    1. a. If the name is not real or someone else's identity is used.
    2. b. Considering massive payments from the same IP, continuous payments from similar IDs, history of theft, etc., payments from designated high-risk IPs deemed to be fraudulent.
    3. c. If suspected of purchasing for profit-making purposes such as resale or purchase on behalf.
    4. d. If false information is provided or essential information is not provided during the purchase process.
    5. e. If a minor applies without the consent of their legal representative.
    6. f. If the payment is not actually made or is likely not to be made.
    7. g. If the 'Member' has violated the 'SBS/SBSi Terms of Use'.
    8. h. In other cases where approving the application violates relevant laws, public order and morals, the company's related terms, etc.
  3. The 'Company' may reserve approval until the obstacle is resolved if there is a disruption in the 'Paid MD Products' purchase service.
  4. When the 'Member' has successfully purchased 'Paid MD Products' and the contract for the purchase of 'Paid MD Products' has been concluded, the 'Company' will provide the details of the contract conclusion to the 'Member'.
Article 6 (Collection of Additional Information)

The 'Company' may collect additional information, essential for providing 'Paid MD Product' services, after obtaining the member's consent. However, if the information collected constitutes personal information, it will comply with the relevant laws and the personal information protection regulations stipulated in the 'SBS/SBSi Terms of Use'.

Article 7 (Member's Obligations)

'Members' must keep their information up to date for receiving and paying for 'Paid MD Product' services from the 'Company'. The 'Company' is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from the inaccuracy of the member's information.

Article 8 (Special Provisions for Contracts Involving Minors)
  1. If the 'Member' is a minor (under 19 years of age) or a person with limited capacity, they must obtain consent from their legal representative (such as a parent) before making a payment for the purchase of 'Paid MD Products'.
  2. Legal representatives may at any time request the withdrawal of a minor's purchase of paid products through the customer center or a separate page.
  3. If the 'Member' is a minor but deceives the 'Company' into believing that they are an adult or that there is consent from their legal representative by using methods such as impersonating an adult or using the payment information of an adult for the purchase, the purchase of 'Paid MD Products' cannot be unilaterally canceled by the 'Member' or their legal representative, even if there was no consent from the legal representative. (Civil Law Article 17)
Article 9 (Supply of Paid MD Products)
  1. The 'Company' will take the necessary measures for the supply of 'Paid MD Products' within 7 business days from the day the 'Member' makes the subscription, unless there is a separate agreement on the supply time of 'Paid MD Products' with the 'Member'. However, if the 'Company' has already received all or part of the payment for the 'Paid MD Products', it will take action within 5 business days from the day the payment was received. In this case, the 'Company' will take appropriate measures to enable the 'Member' to check the supply procedure and progress of 'Paid MD Products'.
  2. The 'Company' will specify the delivery method, the bearer of delivery costs for each method, and the delivery period for each method for the 'Paid MD Products' purchased by the 'Member'.
  3. In case there is a separate agreement between the 'Company' and the 'Member' regarding the time of delivery of goods and provision of services, such agreement shall take precedence over these terms and conditions.
  4. The 'Company' is not responsible for any loss due to the 'Member' providing incorrect information such as the recipient's name, address, telephone number, email address (or mobile phone number).
Article 9-2 (Overseas Supply of Paid MD Products)
  1. The 'Company' provides a service to assist with the overseas shipping process of products for which a sales contract has been concluded through the overseas shipping network of the 'Company' and its business partners. The stages of overseas shipping are divided as follows:
    1. a. Domestic Shipping Stage: The stage until the product purchased by the buyer is stocked at the logistics center of a third party in business partnership with the 'Company'.
    2. b. Overseas Shipping Stage: The stage from the stocking at the logistics center to delivery to the recipient through the overseas shipping network.
  2. In the case of overseas shipping, the purchase contract can be canceled at any time while in the request for shipping status, but returns due to buyer's change of mind are restricted while in transit. Also, returns are generally not allowed from the overseas shipping stage, except in cases where the 'Company' approves exchange or return due to reasons such as original defects in the delivered products.
  3. Buyers who wish to receive approval for exchange or return from the 'Company' must send objective evidence to the 'Company' to prove reasons for exchange/return such as original defects in the products, and if such defects or reasons are proven, the necessary expenses such as shipping costs for exchange or return will be borne by the 'Company'.
  4. If exchange or return is approved by the 'Company', the buyer must contact the overseas shipping customer center, send the goods via EMS international express, and provide documents proving the shipping costs to the 'Company'.

  6. When using the overseas shipping service, the recipient must bear any customs duties, taxes, and other costs that may arise according to the shipping country.
Article 10 (Refund)

If the 'Company' cannot deliver or provide the 'Paid MD Products' due to reasons such as stockouts, it will immediately notify the 'Member' of the reason and, if the payment for the 'Paid MD Products' was received in advance, refund the payment or take necessary measures for the refund within 7 business days from the day the payment was received.

Article 11 (Withdrawal of Subscription, etc.)
  1. According to the 'Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.' (hereinafter referred to as the 'E-Commerce Act'), the 'Member' may withdraw the subscription or terminate the contract (hereinafter referred to as 'Subscription Withdrawal, etc.') within 7 days from the date of receiving the content of the contract for 'Paid MD Products' or from the date of receiving the product.
  2. If the 'Member' has already opened or used the purchased product, 'Subscription Withdrawal, etc.' is not possible for the opened or used part, and it is also not possible after the reservation deadline for reserved products produced according to the 'Member's order. The 'Company' will clearly inform the 'Member' of these reasons for impossibility at the time of product purchase.
  3. Notwithstanding the above clause 11.1, if the content of the product is different from what was displayed or advertised or if it is executed differently from the contract content, the 'Member' can exercise 'Subscription Withdrawal, etc.' within 30 days from the day of receiving the product.
  4. If the 'Member' exercises 'Subscription Withdrawal, etc.' according to clauses 11.1 or 11.2, the 'Member' returns the purchased product as per the 'E-Commerce Act', and the 'Company', after receiving the product from the 'Member' and checking the product's opening or usage status, reason for return, cost of return, etc., will proceed with the refund process in accordance with the 'E-Commerce Act'. However, the refund process may take additional time due to the operational procedures of credit card companies and others.
  5. The cost of return due to the 'Member's 'Subscription Withdrawal, etc.' shall be borne by the 'Member'. However, if the return cost is due to the content of the product being different from the displayed or advertised content or different from the contract content, it shall be borne by the 'Company'.
  6. Other matters related to 'Subscription Withdrawal, etc.' according to this clause will be regulated and processed in accordance with the 'E-Commerce Act'.
Article 12 (Termination of Contract, etc.)

Both the 'Member' and the 'Company' may terminate the contract if the other party fails to fulfill the obligations agreed upon in the contract for the purchase of 'Paid MD Products' within a reasonable period.

Article 13 (Limitation of Liability)
  1. The 'Company' is exempt from liability if it is unable to provide the 'Paid Products' as agreed due to natural disasters or other force majeure events.
  2. The 'Company' is exempt from liability for failing to provide the 'Paid MD Products' as agreed due to the fault of the 'Member', unless there is intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the 'Company'.
  3. The 'Company' is not responsible for disputes that arise between 'Members' or between 'Members' and third parties in relation to the 'Paid MD Products'.
Article 14 (Prohibition of Transfer)

'Members' may not transfer or dispose of their contractual status, rights, and obligations under these terms to others, or use them as collateral.

Article 15 (Consumer Damage Compensation and Complaint Handling, etc.)

In the event that the 'Member' suffers damage due to the intentional or negligent acts of the 'Company', such as being unable to use the 'Paid MD Products' normally, the 'Company' will make its best effort to resolve the issue and, in addition, provide appropriate compensation for the damage.

Article 16 (Miscellaneous)

If the 'Member' suffers damage due to the 'Company's intentional or negligent acts, such as being unable to use the 'Paid MD Products' normally, the 'Company' will make its best effort to resolve the issue and, in addition, provide appropriate compensation for the damage.

Article 17 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)

Litigations arising from e-commerce disputes between the 'Company' and the 'Member' shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea and brought to the jurisdiction of the courts in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.
